What does it help to correct?
Swedish massage goes beyond the benefits of just relaxation. Through it’s long, gliding strokes in the direction of blood returning to the heart it helps to improve circulation, pushing blood into superficial vessels and capillaries that may not always receive blood. And because of this, it is very beneficial to lymphatic drainage, as the lymphatic system, which is instrumental in fighting infection, has no pump and solely relies on muscle contraction, gravity and passive movements.
Massage on a regular basis allows a person to switch off from the stresses of the day. It gives an opportunity to slow down, mentally and physically, bringing a sense of alignment with the inner self, for peace and tranquillity.
